About Us

Proudly Serving the Vending Industry for Over 50 Years with a Commitment to Quality,
Innovation, and Customer Satisfaction.

COMPANY HISTORY

By Your Side Since 1975

All State Manufacturing was founded in 1975 by Earl Ramsey as a remanufacturer of vending machines. As the business grew, so did our team — reaching over 100 employees by 1998. When demand for remanufactured machines declined, we adapted, shifting our focus to companion products like office coffee stands, carts, and condiment cabinets.

Under the leadership of Earl’s daughter, Marian Ramsey Ford, All State transitioned fully into building specialty shelving and cabinetry for the vending industry. In 2014, Marian brought in Rudy Stakeman to drive improvements in profitability and plant efficiency. Guided by Rudy and Plant Manager Chris Higginbotham, the company reduced overhead, improved quality and delivery times, and nearly doubled sales through a revitalized marketing effort led by Sales Manager Sandra Faulkenberry.

In 2016, we expanded into micro market solutions, developing stands for a regional vending operator. This success added dozens of new customers and strengthened our diverse, reliable customer base. Rudy Stakeman completed his purchase of All State and all assets in 2017, positioning the company for continued innovation and growth. Major investments followed, including a new powder coating line in 2018 and new forming equipment in 2019 — all aimed at boosting quality and manufacturing efficiency.

Innovation accelerated in recent years. In 2023, we installed our first laser, streamlining production and reducing lead times. A second, larger, and more powerful laser followed in 2024, helping us further cut costs and introduce price reductions in 2025. Leadership also evolved: Landry Kaufman became Plant Manager in 2024, and Madison Muncie — Rudy Stakeman’s granddaughter — joined the company in 2023. Drawing from her background in the automotive industry, Madison recently took on the role of Chief Operating Officer, bringing a strong focus on improving quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Today, All State remains committed to delivering high-quality, American-made solutions for the vending and micro market industries. We listen, we adapt, and we continue to grow — just as we have since 1975.

Marion
Dave

MEET DAVE & MARIAN

Marian joined All State Manufacturing in 1982, starting in the wash area cleaning parts. Over the years, she mastered nearly every role on the production floor — from fabricating to quality control. She was there every step of the way as the company evolved from remanufacturing vending machines to building specialty cabinetry and shelving.

“I like it because you’re not doing the same thing all the time,” Marian said. “I build them, finish them — whatever needs to be done.”

Dave joined All State a few years later, starting in sub-assembly when cold drink and snack machines were still a core part of the business. Along with his assembly work, Dave became the company’s painter, ensuring every cabinet had an attractive, high-quality finish, from standard black to custom orders. He also played an essential role in new product development, merging his fabricating know-how with his creative ideas to meet customers’ evolving needs. “I like to experiment — put a little more idea into things,” he said.

All State not only shaped their careers but also brought Marian and Dave together. They met in 1988 while working on the production floor, married in 1996, and spent nearly every day side by side at work. As Dave put it, “We’re like a hand in a glove.” Outside of work, they enjoyed spending time with their children and ten grandchildren.

In 2024, Marian and Dave retired together, surrounded by friends, family, and coworkers who celebrated their decades of hard work, creativity, and the lasting impact they had on All State’s success.

Chris

MEET CHRIS

Chris retired this past fall after an incredible 50 years at All State, making him one of the company’s most seasoned and knowledgeable team members. In fact, no one knows the inner workings of All State better than Chris.

“I always just tell people I was born at All State,” he laughs. “It sure feels like it sometimes!”

Throughout his long career, Chris was involved in nearly every aspect of the company. From managing production schedules and setting up press brakes to loading semi-trailers, there was no job he wasn’t hands-on with. In fact, you’d rarely find Chris sitting still — he was known for zipping around the plant on his bicycle to get from one area to another efficiently.

Driven by a clear mission, Chris worked tirelessly to ensure All State delivered the most durable, high-quality vending companion products on the market. With 50 years of experience, he understood exactly what our customers need: reliable, ready-to-use products with no assembly required.

“They want something that’s ready to go,” Chris explains. “Our goal is to make things as easy and simple as possible for the customer.”

After half a century of dedication, Chris left behind a legacy of hard work and commitment to quality that will continue to shape All State for years to come.
